Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using OOAKMarket.com. All purchases on OOAKMarket are protected by our Buyer Protection & Refund Policy. 1. Acceptance of Terms

  • By accessing or using OOAKMarket, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

2. Platform Overview

  • OOAKMarket is a curated online marketplace that connects independent artisans offering one-of-a-kind and limited-edition handmade goods with buyers and retailers.

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use this platform.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and listing creation.

4. Artisan (Seller) Obligations

  • You represent and warrant that all listings you create are accurate and that you have the legal right to sell the items.
  • You are solely responsible for the fulfillment, shipping, and quality of the goods you offer.
  • OOAKMarket charges a commission of 14% on each completed sale (commission includes processing fees charged by Stripe and does not include shipping costs if figured separately).
  • All items are designed and made by you (no drop-shipping or reselling) and are one-of-a-kind or limited edition.
  • Sellers (Artisans) are solely responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting all applicable taxes related to their sales on OOAK Market. This includes, but is not limited to, sales tax, use tax, VAT, GST, income tax, and any other taxes required by local, state, federal, or international law. OOAK Market does not calculate, collect, or remit taxes on behalf of sellers. It is each seller’s responsibility to understand and comply with the tax laws that apply to their business and location. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified tax professional or advisor for guidance specific to your situation. As a launch special, all sales will be commission-free until December 31, 2026. 5. Buyer Obligations

  • All purchases are made directly from the selling artisan. OOAKMarket acts solely as a platform and is not a party to the transaction between buyer and seller.

6. Payments

  • All payments are processed through Stripe. By using the platform, you agree to Stripe’s terms and conditions.

7. Prohibited Conduct You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive activity
  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users

8. Intellectual Property

  • Artisans retain ownership of their creations and listings. By posting content on OOAKMarket, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote your listings.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, OOAKMarket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

10. Modifications

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Account Termination

  • OOAKMarket maintains a high standard of trust and quality. If you violate these Terms of Service — including listing non-authentic items, providing false information, failing to fulfill orders, or engaging in abusive behavior — your account may be suspended or permanently terminated without prior notice. We reserve the right to remove any listings that do not comply with our policies.
