Buyer Protection & Refund Policy At OOAKMarket, we are committed to making every purchase a positive experience. We stand behind our curated community of artisans and offer the following protections to all buyers.

Our Buyer Protection Guarantee

If your item:

  • Does not arrive
  • Arrives damaged
  • Is significantly different from the description and photos
  • Is not handmade by the artisan …you are eligible for a full refund.

How to Request a Refund

  • Contact the artisan through platform messaging within 14 days of delivery.
  • If the issue is not resolved within 48 hours, open a dispute in your order details.
  • Our team will review the case and respond within 3 business days.

What We Cover

  • Full refund of the item price (including original shipping)
  • Return shipping label (in some cases)
  • Replacements when possible

What We Do Not Cover

  • Change of mind (unless within 5 days and item is unused)
  • Items lost or damaged after delivery due to buyer error
  • Minor variations natural to handmade items

Processing Time

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days and returned to the original payment method.
