This wooden cross features a detailed scene of a horse resting before the cross, rendered in turquoise against the rich natural grain. Below, three pink rock slabs appear to float on a bed of turquoise epoxy resin, adding depth and color to the piece.

Artist Note

I made this in quiet remembrance of the cowboys and cowgirls we have lost. Their saddles may be empty here, but we hold tight to the promise that we will see them again in Heaven—resting in peace, just as the horse rests before the cross. May this piece carry a little of that hope and comfort into its new home. ~Much Love!
